My artistic direction is always changing, but one thing has always united my artwork: ANIMALS.

Raised in the East Tennessee foothills, a lot of my childhood was spent roaming the forests and mountains I call home. This fascination with nature inspired me to pursue artmaking. I was especially fixated on animals and their hidden lives. To me, wildife represented humanity at its most primitive: interconnected yet distant, delicate yet mighty, evolving yet ever present. After all, we are animals too.

Carrying on my past values, I seek to make lighthearted, imaginative, and imperfect work that reflects my connection with nature.
